THE FARM
Mark and Lauren moved to NC from Philadelphia in 2016 to start their farming adventure. They attended the Living Web Farm Internship for 6 months in Mills River, NC where they learned everything from growing tomatoes to butchering chickens. They now have a 5 acre farm, and a kindergartener, in Fruitland, NC, just down the street from Justus Orchard, with a high tunnel greenhouse, outdoor garden, fruit trees, flowers, laying hens and bees!

Our hens are pasture raised, fed New Country Organics feed, grit, and oyster shells for extra hard egg shells. We use all organic practices and love our flock of Rhode Island Reds, Leghorns, Polish, Black Australorps, Whiting True Blues and Greens, and 2 American Buff geese.

Our honey bees live in Fruitland, NC. Their honey is carefully harvested, extracted, and bottled on the Fruitland Farmstead. Its is raw, unfiltered, and small batch. We use organic, chemical-free beekeeping practices and naturally manage our 3 hives.
